SEPTEMBER 2022 Newsletter
We absolutely love this time of year here in the Napa Valley. September is typically when the weather really is quite perfect - highs in the high 70s & 80s with cooler mornings and nights. We just love waking up to the fog and seeing the hot air balloons above the Valley as it burns off by mid-morning. If you haven't taken a hot air balloon over the Valley, now is the time! It is a once in a lifetime experience to see the Valley from above - it is absolutely breathtaking. Some of the tour companies even offer a champagne breakfast to end the excursion, which we highly recommend.
AUGUST 2022 Newsletter
As summer comes to an end, we are relishing the still warm afternoons, cool evenings and absolutely marvelous foggy mornings. A hot mug of coffee, a light sweater, and a brisk walk begin each day, but as the fog wears off and the sun comes out, the days turn gorgeous and bright. We've been savoring each and every moment before school starts and the craziness of our schedules recommences. Summer has been glorious - but as with all good things, it too must come to an end.
JULY 2022 Newsletter
What a spectacular July it has been here in the Napa Valley! The month started off with a fun 4th of July parade in Calistoga (our daughter was in the parade with the float she helped make at a Nimbus Arts camp) and was followed by camping in the Sierras, white water rafting on the Deschutes River in Oregon, and a trip to Lake Tahoe.
JUNE 2022 Newsletter
June has been an absolutely glorious month in Napa Valley! The gorgeous, sunny days and warm nights have been perfect for al fresco dinners, walks into town, and an evening glass of wine with a good book by the outdoor fire pit. We are soaking it all in and enjoying the time with our kids while they're on summer break. Lots of pool time, hikes, ice cream dates and bike rides.
MAY 2022 Newsletter
This past month, we experienced some crazy weather - the beginning of the month was typical for a Napa Valley Spring with warm afternoons and cooler mornings and nights. Then on May 10th, the day started off normally with sun and mild temps, but as the afternoon set in, big icy hail started falling from the sky! After a few minutes it turned into a heavy, slushy, almost snow type substance, which only lasted for about 10 minutes but was crazy to see.
April 2022 Newsletter
What a spectacular past month it has been here in the Napa Valley! For the most part, the weather has been absolutely gorgeous, with temps reaching the high 70s by late afternoon. The stunning landscape is in part due to the huge and much needed amount of rain we received lately. Everything is green and lush, and wild flowers abound as well as the bright yellow mustard flowers we love so much. This is just an amazing time to be in the Valley - if you haven't been to wine country lately, now is a fantastic time to visit!
MARCH 2022 Newsletter
The early Spring weather we have been experiencing lately has been absolutely glorious! Beautiful crisp, cool mornings and warm afternoons with highs in the 70s and low 80s have made for perfect days here in the Napa Valley. We've been loving the longer days and have been soaking up every minute of sun, eating outside every chance we get and trying to get in a nice long walk each morning. A nice bout of rain two nights ago and all day yesterday was much needed and made for a lovely, cool, foggy morning.
FEBRUARY 2022 Newsletter
After a few weeks of warmer temperatures, we are back to a Napa Valley winter! We went on a walk earlier this week and it was a chilling 26' when we stepped out of the house around 6:30am.... brrr! We made a point to be grateful for the cold, especially since it's not something we usually experience here in St Helena. The weather is already warming back up and today is going to be a gorgeous sunny winter day with a high of 68'.
JANUARY 2022 Newsletter
We hope you had a nice break over the holiday and were able to spend time with friends and family. We had a spectacular white Christmas in Lake Tahoe and were continually surprised by the amounts of snow that kept falling! By the time we left, over 6 feet had fallen at our cabin on the West Shore, which is almost unbelievable. It was such a fun experience for us all, but as always, it's always such a treat to come home to St. Helena.

Happy Thanksgiving week everyone! We hope you are able to be with loved ones during this time of thanks. One thing we know we feel extremely thankful for is this gorgeous Valley we are so lucky to call home! With some help from all the early rain we received this year, Mother Nature is showing off in a huge way. The leaves are still heavy on the vines, and with the cold evenings and sunny, warm days, they have turned absolutely stunning colors.

I am thrilled to announce that I've recently joined Vanguard Properties and have been hired as the Regional Director to help open their first Napa office in St Helena! While I share this news with a tremendous amount of excitement and anticipation, it also comes with a touch of bittersweetness given the absolutely incredible last seven years I've had working at Coldwell Banker here in the Valley.
November 2020 Newsletter
Happy Thanksgiving! What a crazy last month we have had here in the Napa Valley. Just a few days after we sent out our last newsletter, the Glass fire broke out in the hills to the eastern side of St. Helena, and once again, we find ourselves indebted to all of the brave men and women - fire fighters and community members alike - who risked their lives to save our homes, our town and our community.
